MyRewards Program – Privacy Policy

South Pacific Petroleum Corporation (“SPPC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who participate in the MyRewards Program (“Program”) and use the MyRewards Guam mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains, in general terms, how personal information is collected, used, and protected in connection with the Program.

1. Information We Collect

When a user creates or attempts to create a MyRewards account, we may collect certain personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Zip code
  • Account and transaction-related information

We collect only the information necessary to administer the Program, operate the App, and provide Program-related services.

2. How Information Is Used

Personal information collected through the Program may be used to:

  • Create and manage a MyRewards account
  • Track eligible purchases, points earned, and rewards redeemed
  • Communicate Program-related updates or account information
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve and maintain the functionality and security of the App

SPPC does not sell personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

SPPC may use third-party vendors and service providers to support the operation, maintenance, and functionality of the App and Program. These providers may have limited access to personal information solely for the purpose of performing services on SPPC’s behalf and are expected to handle such information in accordance with applicable privacy and security standards.

4. Data Security

SPPC takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. However, no system or method of data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and SPPC cannot warrant absolute security.

5. Account Issues and Technical Errors

SPPC is not responsible for loss of access to the App, errors, delays, or failures caused by system malfunctions, software issues, or circumstances beyond SPPC’s reasonable control. Personal information may be temporarily inaccessible during system maintenance or technical issues.

6. Data Retention

Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to operate the Program, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable agreements. Information associated with closed or inactive accounts may be retained in accordance with legal or operational requirements.

7. User Responsibilities

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized use of their account. SPPC is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by a Member’s failure to safeguard their information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

SPPC reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the SPPC website or made available through the App. Continued participation in the Program after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
